What is a colloquium?  It is a seminar, meeting or conference of a body of scholars or other specialists, focused on a specified subject or topic.  It is a chance to explore, with like minded individuals, a topic or family of subjects with a common nature.  For our first (of many) Colloquium, on Sunday, Dec. 6th we will be presenting Linda Bloser and her Aura Photography equipment and skills. We will also have various teachers, presentors and products that will bring all of us insight and further wisdom about the energetic bodies and patterns that are part of being human beings as well as spiritual beings on a human path. Animal Communication and Healing – An Introduction - With Mary C. Gillen, Sunday, Dec.13, 2009  10 am to noon.  Mary is an Animal Reiki teacher and Animal Communicator. Do you want to better understand & communicate with your animal friend?  Are there times when you wish you could offer your companion comfort & healing? This class is an introduction to the tools of energy healing and non-verbal communication with and for animals.  Rediscover you inborn ability to offer them healing energy and your capacity to communicate, heart to heart, with these sentient beings. Reiki I for Kids w/Marianne Crouse – Saturday, Dec. 12th, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. This workshop is the Traditional Usui System of Natural Healing customized for children ages 5 and above.  The children will be taught to “feel” energy and learn the basics of healing techniques.  An attunement will be given as well as a certificate of completion for Level I.  Registration is required.    Classes are small and a deposit of $25 is necessary to secure a place.  Fee:  $60 + $16 for book, “The Power of Reiki” by Tanmaya Honervogt.
